Step 1: Wrap the strap over your leg and place the splint on your instep, which is the arched middle part of your foot in front of your ankle joint.

Step 2: Encircle the front portion of your foot, or your forefoot.

Step 3: To ensure a good fit, adjust the elastic strap.

Step 4: Attach the elastic strap to the velcro after adjusting the front strap to the appropriate tension.
